Pure Air Solutions expands its global presence with first Sulphus in India.

As a result of increased demand for odour control technologies used in the waste water sector in India, Pure Air Solutions (PAS) started to invest in a local supply chain and sales network. From the new set up in Delhi PAS is dedicated to expand in the Indian market. In order to be competitive whilst maintaining high quality standards some parts will be procured and produced locally, while key components of the Sulphus Technology will still come from the assembly centre in the Netherlands.

Mid-September the first Sulphus with arrive India, two months earlier PASSAVANT Energy &  Environment awarded PAS with the order to supply the odour control system Aurangabad Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion currently under construction. A Sulphus 3000-3 is going to treat 10.265 m3/h of foul air with an average concentration of 50 ppm H2S. The expansion, which will be built on a greenfield site, is expected to be completed in 2023.

The SULPHUS is a preferred odour control technology of many advanced industrial and municipal wastewater treatment facilities, which have chosen Biotrickling Filters (BTF) over conventional methods of treating wastewater odours.
